Who's behind 6Qs

Two founders, one workspace in Koramangala, and a specific bet about what the next decade of Indian IT hiring rewards.

Uday Kumar

Curriculum · Delivery · Placement

Roughly 25 years in Indian IT, from Developer to Director, across eight business functions and 300-plus enterprises — engineering, product management, consulting, presales, sales and marketing. That range is the point: he has sat on both sides of the hiring table and knows what actually gets someone shortlisted.

Author of The Resilient IT Professional, the book the 6Q framework comes from, and founder of ProThink, the career-clarity practice for IT professionals and their mentors.

Bhaskar

Infrastructure · Apprenticeship monitoring

Co-founder providing and running the 6Qs workspace in Koramangala — the office you report to every morning. He monitors the apprenticeship day to day: attendance, rhythm, whether the room is working the way a workplace should.

Why we built this

The gap we kept seeing

Degrees certify that someone completed a syllabus. Employers hire for evidence that someone can do work. In a normal decade the first year of a job closes that gap. But entry-level roles are exactly the ones generative AI is thinning out — so the bridge that used to convert graduates into professionals is narrowing at the moment demand for a new kind of engineer is rising fastest.

6Qs is an attempt to rebuild that bridge deliberately: give people the year of real work first, and let them arrive at the interview already carrying the evidence.

The room

Koramangala, Bangalore

A working office, not a classroom. Desks, a standup, deadlines and colleagues. You come in at nine and leave at six, five days a week, because the habits that make someone employable are built by the rhythm and not by the syllabus.

[TO ADD: photographs of the workspace — these matter more than any copy on this page]

The honest part. We are a founding cohort. We have no placement statistics yet — and we won't invent any. What we have is a real market, a real method, a real workplace, and 25 years of knowing what employers actually hire. The first batch is where we prove it — together, at Founding Cohort prices that reflect exactly that.

Come and see the room.

The Trial Month is the honest version of a brochure.
