The programme
Is this an internship?
No. It's an apprenticeship-style programme: you pay a programme fee and work full-time on real projects with mentorship. The optional Sponsored Track adds a guaranteed monthly stipend, so you earn while you train — but this is training that works like a job, not a job offer.
What happens after the Trial Month?
We decide together. If we both agree it's working, you continue into the 9–12 month programme. If either side says no, you leave with your project, written feedback, and no further obligation.
Can I do this remotely?
No. The whole point is the room — the 9-to-6 rhythm, the standups, the pressure of presenting your work to people sitting in front of you. Those can't be built through a screen. For 2nd- and 3rd-year students, a virtual PreFDE summer programme is planned separately.
Do I get a certificate?
No, deliberately. The market is drowning in certificates and has largely stopped reading them. You leave with a GitHub portfolio of working agents, recorded demos, written post-mortems, and an experience letter describing the work you actually did.
What will I actually build?
AI agents for document-heavy, rule-heavy problems of the kind BFSI runs on: document analysis and extraction, KYC-style verification, compliance and reconciliation workflows. Real briefs, real data constraints, real deadlines, and reviews that don't go easy on you.
What if I fall behind?
You get told early and directly, in the daily review, while it's still fixable — that's the entire reason the feedback is daily. Falling behind is normal; hiding it is the problem.
Money
Why would I pay a fee and also receive a stipend?
The programme fee pays for your transformation — mentorship, real projects, reviews, placement support. The Sponsored Track is a separate option: you pay ₹1,00,000 extra and receive ₹1,20,000 back as a ₹10,000 monthly training stipend over 12 months. It gives you income during the programme and an earning history on your profile.
Is the Trial Month free for everyone?
The {{trialName}} fee is ₹5,000. All 20 {{cohortName}} seats are free. Selection still applies — free doesn't mean automatic.
When do I pay the programme fee?
After the {{trialName}}, once both sides have decided to continue. You never pay the programme fee before you've spent four weeks in the room. [CONFIRM: instalments?]
What if I leave halfway through?
[NEEDED: your refund / exit policy — this question will be asked by every parent]
Getting in
What are you looking for when you select?
Someone who can already write some code, who asks questions rather than guessing, and who takes correction well. We are not screening on college tier or CGPA.
Do I need to be from a top college?
No. The gap this programme exists to close is largest for Tier 2 and Tier 3 graduates, and that's who we most want to hear from.
Do I need to be in Bangalore already?
No, but you need to be able to relocate for the programme. You arrange your own stay; we can point you to PGs near the workspace.
Can final-year students apply?
Yes, if you can commit full-time from the start date. [CONFIRM: any exceptions for pending results?]
Outcomes
Do you guarantee a job?
Yes, for students who complete the programme to standard — and you receive that standard in writing at the end of the {{trialName}}, before you commit to the programme fee. The home page sets out what it covers. The short version: the demand is real, and if you build the capability we place you, on 6Qs client work or with an employer in the market. Enrolling and coasting guarantees you nothing, and we would not insult the people who did the work by pretending otherwise.
What exactly does "completing to the standard" mean?
It covers six things: attendance, briefs delivered and accepted at review, the daily written update maintained, demo days presented and defended, the final portfolio published, and mock interviews cleared. The exact thresholds are given to you in writing at the end of the {{trialName}}, before you commit to the programme fee — so you know what you are signing up to while you can still walk away. You are then told where you stand against them every working day.
What if I complete the programme and still don't have an offer?
You keep your desk, your mentor and our introductions at no further fee until you're placed. That is the part we control, so that is the part we commit to in writing. [CONFIRM: time limit, if any]
What are your placement statistics?
We don't have any yet. This is the {{cohortName}} — the first one. We could quote industry averages or other people's numbers, but they wouldn't be ours. The {{cohortName}} price, and a placement commitment we put in writing, are what we offer instead of statistics we haven't earned.
What salary should I expect afterwards?
We won't promise a number. Published Indian bands for FDE roles at 0–2 years' experience have been reported in the ₹18–28 LPA range at startups and GCCs, but those are for people already in the role, the market is small — roughly 250–270 open roles in India at a given time — and hiring outcomes depend on you. Treat any specific figure, from us or anyone else, as context rather than a forecast.
Question we haven't answered?
Ask it directly — we'd rather answer it before you apply than after.
